Mr. Absurdly-long-voicemail-instructions-maker

I can't take it anymore.  Please, no more voicemail instruction that you have to listen to for 30 minutes before you can leave a message for a friend.  We need some guy logic here. (2:42) Share

The thing that REALLY annoys me is that there is no standardization on how to skip the dreaded time-suck of voice mail introductions. For most office voice mail systems, you press #, and you're through... but with cell phone providers, some use #, others use *, and God only knows what the rest use (I don't think they have a way to skip it, they just want to rack up your minutes and waste your time). Oh, but if you call someone and press the wrong key to skip the v.m. b.s., then it will say "Enter password" to access the actual voice mail messages. I don't want to enter a password! I just want to leave a message, NOW! At that point, I just hang up.
